@k_ratoncita My theory is that they are just racist. They are embarrassed to come out and admit that they are racist, so they shop around for any reason that justifies them supporting racism without directly saying that they are racist.
@sirgeefive @k_ratoncita Racist or sexist. Back in the day my brother told me he voted for Obama, but with HRC and now Kamala he seems to have picked up a serious case of "I'd vote for a woman but not THAT woman." OTOH, it may be that his ultra-red surroundings (good ol' NE-03) and my racistAF sh*thead cousins finally got to him. It's gross either way.
Maybe a little of both?
