So they restricted the FBITexas account based on my reporting on Twitter, but not sure why it took a few more weeks to actually kill the account.
Pretty sure impersonating the Federal Bureau of Investigation falls under impersonating an officer, which is a felony...
Looking at the backlogs of attention that account got in terms of being tweeted at, sometimes along with the real account of the FBI -- I just really hope nothing shady happened in DMs. βΉοΈ
This is really scary but an awful eye opener. As a mum, I dread the day I would start thinking about this, on top of preparing for my child for school. But you know what, I have to. I have to. Better be prepared.

Samsung and LG have already patched the vulnerability, Huawei will only patch it on phones that are yet to come out, and Sony refuses to acknowledge that it's a problem.
