It's really hitting me now how badly this could have all gone. If I had delayed going to the ER any longer, it could have gone very badly indeed.

@LiberalLibrarian Good thing you went. Glad you're still with us. I keep liquid Benadryl around for just such allergic reactions.
If it's going wrong, you may still be able to swallow enough to slow the reaction and give yourself more time to get to the ER.
