A thing about pronouns... A lot of men in my generation were very comfortable switching pronouns to refer to partners to not out ourselves. We are fine with either masculine and feminine pronouns unless someone is being intentionally mean or abusive.

That being said, it’s a very different dynamic especially for trans and gender fluid/nonbinary people.

So just cause referring to me as “oh, her!” Is fine, that’s not license to ignore other folks choices.
