I was hoping to announce the publication of my new store front on Redbubble but the eejits claimed I was violating Disney's rights because I posted my photo of the exterior of the Walt Disney Concert Hall. A shot taken from the street, i.e. public view. 😡

I sent a counter to their takedown report informing them that 17 U.S. Code § 102 states as long as the structure is visible to the public, then any photos, paintings, or pictures can be republished.

Dumbasses.

When I go to upload my other awesome shots of the Disney Center to Redbubble, I'll be sure to NOT include the name. 😏 I'll just put "Los Angeles, CA."

I'm very tempted to tell Redbubble to shove it and close my shop. They're refusing to reinstate my photo of the Walt Disney Center on the basis that Disney complained.

"...the works you upload consist of your very own, original ideas and are not infringing on the intellectual property or publicity rights of another, ..."

Meanwhile, shops like these 👇 are allowed. 🤬
