Work continues to be a safe space for me, as everyone has been very nice and supportive... well, except for one supervisor, who for some reason insists on using my legal name instead of my preferred name (which has been on my name badge for well over a year now). She even did this in a meeting today in front of the other supervisors. This is past annoying now and moved into "Pissed off" territory.

Do you think HR might help? Or maybe ignoring her when she does that, or correcting her by saying, "Actually, my name is____." ?
@okika_hilo At this point, I'm contacting her supervisor. She has been corrected by both myself and my team on multiple occasions and she still refuses to do it
@AngryCanadianGamer @okika_hilo Depending on the state, contacting HR might result in faster action. It’s illegal harassment in some states to misgender or dead name you intentionally and repeatedly.

I’d find out what the laws are in your state cause if after two previous corrections by staff, she’s obviously not going to stop until there’s a more serious repercussion.
