Exactly!! I was trying to think of what they needed cause what I've had to do in the past is get a piece of wood or hard plastic and wedge it between the plug & wall. I no longer have any but I'm now needing a couple new ones cause some of mine are very old and damn near everything I'm seeing on Amazon is flat. WTH?
@see_the_sus I have a flat plug that I use to plug in my wall tv to the socket that hides the cable in the wall. Very useful, because it’s in a traveled space and the cable would be unsightly and in the way.
They have their purposes.
I get that they have their purpose BUT they're still damn hard to pull out. None of my outlets are in areas where I walk so I don't need something that blends in with the decor.
@see_the_sus ever try and plug in a regular plug behind a dresser, fridge, or any time there is little space between the outlet and what's in front of it and their purpose will be clear.
I never said they didn't have their purpose.
I prefer them because they're flush and I can put my furniture against the wall without crushing the plug, but, yes, a little pull tab would be nice.
This is a short cord, but it has a ridge to make unplugging easier. I'm sure they come in longer lengths.
Thanks but I need one that has 3 outlets. I'm just gonna have to go with a flat one but with a rotating plug so that it doesn't get in the way of the other outlet like so many do.
I figured the one I listed wasn't the exact right configuration. I was just showing the plug. 😉
@see_the_sus Not me. I never pull mine out.
@see_the_sus
At least make them with a pull handle that will lay flush when you don't need it.
