Watched Public Enemies tonight, err, last night now, and there’s a scene of someone dialing a rotary wall phone. All of a sudden I was back in my childhood home dialing a wall rotary phone. Sticking my finger into the circle to pull the dial to the numbers. Then, I remembered the cordless phone we got, sometime in the mid or late 80s.

Damn, flashbacks are weird.

The last year of her high school, my dad bought a "princess" phone for my sister and ran wire to her bedroom. As a birthday present. She was one of the fist girls in our neighborhood to have her own personal phone. The envy of all her friends.

Yeah, I’d be f**** envious! 😆
We had a very long cord and if we wanted “privacy,” we could squeeze ourselves into the laundry room or out the back door but the screen door would cinch the cord.
