Well, scratch that idea. Not only would I have to walk through what looks like about 5” (inches), or more of a lake right outside my gate, but the rain started back up just as I opened the gate. And it’s still going hard. JFC No rain, or nothing more than spit drops for two months and suddenly POW!
@see_the_sus how much rain fell?
I haven’t checked the news. *heads over to local news*…
I can’t find any info on how much but rain has fallen radar shows more coming. Meanwhile, 👇🏻is crazy! 😵

@see_the_sus
oh my
and no one was hurt
amazing
this is no joke, we have these road/bridge conditions everywhere, interstates flying over neighborhoods
there was one I drove under weekly for years
crazy is right
we need the rain
but not a year's worth in an afternoon
I hate when I have to take one of those high-winding overpasses. I get vertigo really easily, (worse the older I've become), plus I've always had a fear of driving on really high bridges (or over large expanses of water). When I have to drive on these I look straight forward, never looking at cars next to me or any other scenery, and grip the wheel far too tightly. And then exhale when I touch ground. LOL
@see_the_sus friends just visited the Maritimes and survived a trip across Conferderation (don't look it up😳) not his favorite thing
not even close
I have made my peace with most of my fears
I think by forgetting I have them
then I remember
when it's too late
🤦♂️
@see_the_sus To me, the "good clothes" are the ones that don't fall apart and have the vapors when I want to go in some mud.
: )
😆 Those are what I’d call jeans and t-shirts.
Made it out to my car and back inside just as more rain started. 😮 Thankfully, my car is a-ok! 🎉
