FOOD!! COFFEE!! 😋😍 And after I have filled my two-day old empty belly, I’ll be a snoring hibernating bear.
Thankfully, despite the difficulties I had with fulfilling the required mandated swallowing of the colo-prep shit, the procedure went well.
Thanks everyone for putting up with all my whining and bitching and groaning these past three days. ♥️
@see_the_sus Woooohoooo!
Aside: does Twisters taste different to you? We hadn't had it in a while, and the burritos I bought the other day were nasty, like they'd used canned cheese or something.
They’re definitely nowhere near as good as they once were, not even quite the same since I moved back last September but I’ve yet to find a place I like as well that has as good a price and isn’t a sit-down only restaurant.
I like Flying Star’s but their prices have gone thru the roof and then there’s Central Grill downtown but, not exactly convenient. I’m not a fan of Golden Pride.
Do you know of any other spots?
@see_the_sus It's hard to say because we really stopped doing takeout for a while cuz it all got so expensive. If you like Chinese, Yummy House on Eubank at Constitution is good, and the portions make for multiple meals. The 11-3 lunch menu is a great deal.
Thanks, I’ll check them out. 😀 Have you ever been to Thai Tip or Café Da Lat? Those are two of my favs.
@see_the_sus No, I haven't. *makes note*
oh ya gotta try Café Da Lat! My best friend introduced it to me a long time ago and we try to get over there a few times a year. My favorites are the spring rolls and Chicken in Lemongrass Sauce. Oh and the Vietnamese Coffee. LOL
@see_the_sus I love spring rolls.
These are the non-fried kind, which I prefer, and are soooo fresh tasting.
Perhaps we can meet up sometime for a visit there.
Well, maybe when the temperatures cool down this fall we could do takeout. I have a nice little patio area and a 5x5 table we can hang out at or we could meet at a park. But no pressure. 😊
@see_the_sus Might do, might do!!
@see_the_sus I don't eat inside restaurants anymore. I still mask.
