IKR? Between my eyes feeling like they’re being sucked on by an octopus, my nose dripping like Victoria Falls, and the sinus headache, I’m ready to scream.
@see_the_sus i'm so very glad my doc is hyper aggressive about my allergies and such - has me on powerful meds to help with my asthma. Keeps my pollensuffering manageable.
I've been wondering if I should see a pulmonologist again because I have or used to have asthma. It started as allergy-induced, well...here in NM, as a matter of fact, in 2007. And then, in Dec '09 I came down w/ pneumonia for the first time, and every year, up until 2020, I got sick in the winter.
Buuut, since I started wearing a mask in "20, I've had a few colds (and COVID last Jul) but for the most part, my lungs have been ok.
@see_the_sus If you have a good GP I'd chat with them about a referral. If not that great a GP I'd still chat with em. 🙃

To my ear sounds perfect recipe for upgraded pulmonary evaluation. Wouldn't be surprised if GP doesn't just handle it - covid damage on the population writ large has the specialists overburdened.
Not any better down here. Grass pollen is through the roof. When I lived in Portales, it was bad there, too.
I’m not used to having allergies in June. 😣
I am, unfortunately, very much used to it; it has always been like that for as long as I've lived in NM, and before that, it was pretty common back east in PA, too.
I need to start taking quercetin again. That and find local honey.
