Donna Deegan has name recognition, which helps her. I lived in SE GA for 25 years before moving 10 years ago. Even I knew who she was. Jacksonville is a weird mix of urban liberalism, RWNJ rednecks, and a huge military population - active and retired - that swings along the spectrum.

Do you mean DIDisorder? Schizophrenia is characterized by a loss of touch with what is considered reality. Hallucinations/delusions/paranoia are common with people diagnosed with schizophrenia.
DID used to be called Multiple Personality Disorder. During childhood trauma a young person dissociates to create someone who can help survive the horrific situations a youngster encounters in their environment.
