If I had means to move to California, with a job & apartment lined up, & could move with all my belongings & pets, I'd be ready to go in a week.
Too bad I never seem to be lucky enough to find employers that want to help make this happen.
And can't even find one on social media.

Back in 2013, I was wanting to move to Chicago and so I started looking for work there while living in NM (which I'm back here now). Despite being qualified, I'd get asked during the phone interview "Are you here, in Chicago cause I see it says NM on your resume." I tell them that I'm interested in moving there and could be ready to do so within a month but nobody wants to wait.
I ended up moving to IN and then looking for a job.
