I started writing this essay last 4th of July when a shooter chose to make Highland Park’s holiday parade a deadly crime scene. It stayed in my drafts folder for several months. I finally finished writing it this morning. It is, unfortunately, evergreen. /nosanitize #gunreform #publicspace

I don’t see Americans seeing the truth of this until the NRA is abolished. At one time it was a respectable organization but that time has long been gone.
