damnit get vaccinated and wear a mask! 😡Yeah, I’m tired of wearing it, especially having to wear glasses but I’d rather deal with the annoyance of the mask than be hacking up a lung.
My 77 year old mother was diagnosed with influenza yesterday. Neither she nor the recent home health aide wear a mask around each other. Me? You sure as hell know I am cause I’ve got asthma & other immune issues.
This sign was on my doctors wall in the exam room yesterday. A totally preventable problem. 🤬
@see_the_sus sorry to hear that, hopefully she will have a full recovery. Had my husband to the ER this morning, he's tested positive for RSV and is coughing his head off. Sent home, too late for antiviral medication same old hydrate, rest, otc meds. Could turn into pneumonia so come back then.

Ooff! I’ve had chronic pneumonia in the past but funny enough, I’ve been ok since I started wearing a mask in 2020. Gee, if only doctors had told me all those years to wear a mask throughout winter, it may have saved me a lot of missed work and pain.
