@XaoslordErie Oddly enough, I've had pretty good luck with them over the past 11 years. My biggest complaint right now is that they don't have their 5G home internet here in ABQ. I had it in Indy and it was fantastic. I was ecstatic when I got to kick Comcast to the curb and now I'm forced back with those MF'rs.
@XaoslordErie "mammaries on a male pig!" 😂
Comcast's signal was total shite in Indy. I would lose internet all the time and had to reboot the modem several times a week and when watching TV the streaming channels were constantly reloading. Or just crashing.
@see_the_sus I had exactly that same problem with Century Link in Portales. If the wind blew the wrong way, the signal was hosed. Maddening.
@XaoslordErie Century Link is damn near worse than Comcast. I have a close friend who has worked in telecommunications since the days Ma Bell. He was w/ Qwest when Century Link gobbled them up and he would talk about the stupidity that began almost immediately.
@see_the_sus I worked for GTE as a directory assistance operator just as they were transitioning to the Verizon name and man, that was a gagglefark if ever I saw one. But yeah, I loathe Century Link. More time spent down than up, almost.
@see_the_sus That's good if you have! In Portales, we had a Verizon store that was as useful as mammaries on a male pig ... and a old Navy shipmate of mine in Maryland has Verizon FIOS and loathes it, as it doesn't work much of the time. Here in Las Cruces, the place I am in now has Comcast, which I am not enamoured with, but it does work and the Wi-Fi signal is surprisingly decent. Given the choice, I'd as soon not use Comcast, but I am not the homeowner, so I'm stuck for the nonce.
