Should I be concerned that my booster was 6 months ago and I’m not eligible for a second?

@lilc I hear ya on that. According to what I've read from The Who it's dubious as to whether the booster would have any long term protection against variants BA4 and BA5 currently on the rise. But vaccination does at least minimize severity of the disease.

@ErFlynnArt @lilc The variants don't seem to be a impactful as they were either. My MiL came down with it last week and the impact was like regular flu--shots & boosted. My FiL came down with it the other day--no shots, he's pretty ill--but impact wasn't very severe at all. (If he'd gotten the first variant, I think it'd be a different story.) Natch, YMMV based on your sitch.

@scottlink @lilc Yes. Hopefully maybe we'll get lucky and Covid will mutate downward to become just another common cold virus, which are mostly corona viruses also.
