I love how my mom thinks I know things about cars. I have to Google what kind of oil she needs or whatever else she's always asking me. I wish she'd just take it to a mechanic! And bothering the gentleman across the street doesn't count.
@sarcasmsign finding an honest mechanic can be a bit of a chore, especially if you know very little about cars. there's plenty of shops out there that will take advantage of a lack of knowledge.
I know this cuz i worked in the field for a while. i have people picking my brain about car issues quite often.
