One of my coworkers is already planning a Halloween party and I think I'm finally going to make my John Constantine crossplay dreams come true. I found a coat on eBay and I have black dress pants already. Just need a white shirt and a tie and some fake cigarettes. I adore Matt Ryan's portrayal of the character. He nailed him.
@corlin I cross the line at drastic hair changes. 😂 I'm already a darker blond and it's staying that way.
So, switch the coat for a leather jacket, and this Constantine is basically my late husband. Who was an occult magician (and Crowley scholar) who'd been kicked out of his order (the OTO). Incredibly charming but a dangerous drunk.
So much like him that my jaw dropped the first time I saw Ryan in the role.
I loved the series and wish it had lasted longer.
