@Yarnchick @Spagesgallo1 yup--this.
Back when I quit the advice was to make sure you removed all facebook 'apps' and integrations w/other websites (e.g., 'login with facebook') b/c any use of those features would be taken as indication you want to stay on FB.
Okay. Please explain this to me in layman's terms. I uninstalled the app on my phone, including Messenger. Is that what you mean?
@Spagesgallo1 @rpardee many apps integrate with fb, like say Pinterest. When you log in to Pinterest it can ask 'do want to log in with fb, google, or another ID' and if you have used your fb ID to do that, it will automatically reactivate your fb
Oh, OK. No I haven't done that in the past. I always use the ID and password that I created for that specific app.
@Spagesgallo1 @rpardee then you are goldenπ
Whoo Hoo! What a relief! π₯°
@Spagesgallo1 @rpardee i hope that makes sense...so it would mean that you need to log out of any integrated app and re-log into it with your original log in and password for that specific app so that it doesn't flag fb.
And yes, you were correct at uninstalling the fb/messenger apps as well.
Yes, it does make sense. Thank you so very much for the clarification! Right after I deleted my Facebook account I uninstalled both apps! π
@rpardee @Spagesgallo1 Roy, you're correct on this as well
