I don't like to talk a lit about this but I need to say this:

I am not a U.S. citizen, and my knowledge of U.S. history is limited, but I am genuinely curious: how can "patriotic" U.S. citizens consider Trump a true Republican? The U.S. has had some remarkable Republican presidents, some even better than certain Democrats. It’s frankly insulting to suggest that this man prioritizes the future of the U.S. over his own financial interests.

@Faustus if you redefine "patriotism" to mean allegiance to white supremacy and trump specifically, then you can call trumpers "patriotic". I think that's essentially what they've done.

The only "real" US citizens to these people are white christian males--everyone else is an illegitimate enemy invader, whose votes shouldn't count, whose interests are forever subordinated to those of the Reich.
