fresh back from costco--they had no TP. We didn't need it, but I'd head it'd been hunted to extinction, on mis-founded rumors that the port workers' strike was going to affect supply. Confirmed by cashier, who said they'd get more in Tuesday, but if we really wanted it we'd need to get in right at opening b/c it was flying off the shelves.
Weird.
@rpardee We were there yesterday and there was no paper towel. Same reason. 🙄
@rpardee glad I got my Costco 6-month supply a couple of weeks ago.
@rpardee What's weird about it? This seems pretty normal, actually. Whenever people hear a rumor there could be a shortage, they run out and cause one.
@rpardee also worth noting- it’s not imported. A dock workers strike wouldn’t affect it at all.
