The mysteries of #healthcare: The insurance says: "It’s always a good idea to call the doctor and ask if they participate in your plan's network before making an appointment." The doctor says: "Please contact your insurer to determine your benefit coverage."
So I called insurance and said that their web site listed a clinic as in network. My question was "does that mean that all the doctors in the clinic are in-network? Or do I have to check that out before I confirm appointment with a specific doctor?" I have to check it out.
