This might be an unpopular opinion, but the animation work in “Speed Racer” is terrible.
I still like the opening credits and song, though. And the car is cool.

@MrsHowelsEyebrows oh yeah--I think that was so-so quality for the times. It def doesn't hold up to today's standards.
@rpardee I’m still watching the cartoons on MeTV’s Toons network. The animation is not great, but having worked in old-school animation, I know that even the clunkiest stuff takes a huge amount of time and effort to make. With what I imagine was a demanding schedule, it’s not bad at all.
