Have you guys heard of the Grandparents Scam?
The criminals use AI to clone the voice of grandkids and use that to shake down the grandparents for money.
They suggest having a safe word between the grandkids and grandparents 🤯😳

@PussyFootingAround I've heard of the one where they just claim to be $GRANDCHILDS_NAME and say they've been arrested & need bail money.
I expect if you call enough grandparents you'll get a bunch who's hearing is bad enough to be fooled.

Yeah. They also use AI to create pictures that make it appear the kid has been kidnapped.
There was also a "well educated retiree" who gave 2 million dollars to an AI chat bot named Santos because she wanted to bone.
