I feel like, if he was capable of it, trump's best move would be to enter into a (corrupt, obvs) bargain with say, desantis or haley, and hand the GOP nom off to them in return for a promise of federal pardons + all possible support in his state criminal cases.

Given Biden's unpopularity and debate performance, I imagine he would be easy to be for *anyone other than trump*.

But his psychopathology would not let trump even consider it.
