Am I remembering right that when NC (or was it SC?) first passed it's "bathroom bill" it was a huge story & major sports franchises moved their tournaments out of the state, and there were boycotts etc.?

b/c it's been a hell of a transition (no pun intended) to now, where they're criminalizing gender affirming care.
