Gonna go see Dune 2 in a bit. I think I will resist the sandworm popcorn container. It is appealing to participate in the culture & all, and I'm a huge fan of both the books & Villaneuve. But at the end of the day it's a hunk of plastic that I'll end up tossing out...
OMG so many commercials...
Dang--it used to be that prior to the advertised showtime they would show a series of fluffy movie trivia stuff w/a lot of just straight commercials mixed in. Once showtime came they switched to trailers, and then eventually the movie.
This time, come showtime there was 30 solid minutes of mostly commercials but with some trailers mixed in. 0 stars. I will not be arriving on time to a movie again.
@rpardee The only reason I get to a movie on time/slightly early is so I don't have to squeeze in front of other people. I hate that part.
On the up-side, I loved Dune 2. It goes off-book just a bit, but is excellent anyway.
