Finished watching Ken Burns' US & The Holocaust this morning. Amazed at how much I didn't know about the holocaust, including that (nearly?) all the death camps were actually located in occupied Poland, rather than Germany.

I mean "Auschwitz" just sounds super-German.
My parents should def get their money back for my history education...
@rpardee Auschwitz is a German name. The camp was in an annexed part of Poland near the town of Oświęcim.
