I am finding it very difficult to subscribe to my local newspaper. The web form claims they don't deliver to my area (which can't be true) and the customer service chat says they can't upgrade us from digital-only to print--I have to call.
Looking on the website, I'm starting to worry that they don't produce enough stories to support a print edition...
I just cancelled my local fishwrapper.
I signed up for print service because they were giving away a gift card. 3 weeks went by and they still haven't delivered, just offered the web version.
I call, they say Oh no, you're not subscribed to that. At least they didn't charge me extra, but fuck those paywalls.

Well I think I managed to sign up for home delivery--time will tell... 🤞
