Exercised my Dad perogative last night to choose the movie--picked Army of The Dead, the new Zack Snyder zombie flick.
I don't think I'm that squeamish, but dang--inside the 15 minute mark (before the opening credits were all the way done) I was sufficiently grossed out to suggest we switch to Zombieland instead, which we did & which the girls had never seen & enjoyed.
Feels like a win.
So--coda on this. I'm back to my elliptical workouts & so cued this up to watch & like 5 minutes in this time I see fucking Sean Spicer playing himself in an ambient TV news scene.
Fuuuuuuck that noise. Not gonna participate in the rehabilitation of that malignant asshole.
So I put on Ice Road, risking major testosterone poisoning, but it managed to distract me enough to get me through the workout. (The beginning of it anyway.)
@rpardee I loved it, though I think it ran longer than necessary.
But you definitely do have to have a pretty high tolerance and know what you're in for.
I'll probably go back & watch AOTD on my own though.
