I have officially given up on wandavision. Midway through ep 6 there was some painfully cliché thing happening (I have repressed it) and I switched to watching Narcos instead (which has been excellent).
There's a "rule of goats" principle here I think. Yeah, you're satirizing bad TV tropes, sure. But the more time you spend indulging those tropes, the more you're just being bad TV.

@rpardee Oh right on! Yeah the first season is great. I am kinda weirdly obsessed with drug cartels so I think I'd enjoy the Mexico stuff too.
I took one look at the commercials and knew it was gonna be insufferably cringy.
Cringe humor is, in my opinion, the lowest form of humor - far below bathroom humor and, yes, even puns.
