Does anybody have any tips they can give me on how to better use/understand this platform? Since I only joined earlier on today, any form of advice would be appreciated. Thanks. 🙂
@rosielebontennant Similar to other platforms but much nicer and you can customize stuff. You can follow folks, interacting with others is always a good way to find friends. The firehose column is everything everyone posts. You can have one just for friends, so on. welcome! If the news banners are too much you can turn them off.
@ACID_CASUALTY Sounds good, what things can you customise on here? And how do you turn off the news banners? I’m using the app on my phone, because I have to be honest, the desktop version is a bit too overwhelming for my autistic brain. 🥺💖💙 Xxxx
@rosielebontennant @th3j35t3r I try to keep things simple here. The little shapes at the top are different columns. One thing you can customize. One can choose what columbs they keep at the top best i know. I usually stick to these two. The friends column, folks i follow. And the community firehouse. Its like two separate twitter feeds.
One that shows everyones posts, friends or not = firehouse > teal arrow🩵
And one that shows only friends posts! = Friends >purple arrow 💜

I appreciate knowing that the person who made this platform is nice/helpful, much appreciated for anybody, but especially in the case for someone like myself who often struggles to understand things due to my autism. 🙂😘💙💖 Xxxx
