I was a 'Negro' when the Civil Rights Act was signed into law on July 2, 1964 — 60 years ago today — prohibiting racial discrimination. But now, the president is above the law, and the Supreme Court has stripped away women's, civil, voting, and other human rights. Everything has changed. It seems that anyone who isn't a wealthy, white, cis-gendered Christian male is a 'Negro' now.
