@rootwoman123 Worse in some respects, certainly. He seems, for better and worse, smarter. He's at least given lip service to actually governing, and has some track record to supporting it. Nothing like Gym's betrayal of his students AFAIK. Time will tell.

@rootwoman123 It would have been better if some Republicans peeled away to make a deal with the Democrats, but that was always a long shot. Far likelier, the hardliners could have kept us in limbo indefinitely, preventing any legislation from passing and likely leading to a fresh constitutional crisis.
