@tusker3701 No, they switched from the absolute monarchy to constitutional monarchy with lots of protections for the royals. That is just a tiny symptom of what is wrong with the whole picture.
@tusker3701 @ridor9th They didn't bring democracy to these countries - they were kicked out. They fought to retain control of these countries but the natives passed an independence referendum and forced the UK monarch to recognize and grant them their autonomy and independence. But when you speak of recently, Queen Elizabeth II was okay with Barbados leaving the Commonwealth, because she recognized that Barbados has every right to determine its path.
@ridor9th did they not say, they’ve abolished monarchy and brought democracy to several countries such as India, so, how come they don’t themselves follow the example they claim to have set (for other countries by stealing their riches)
