I was born in East Coast of the US. I grew up to adore Pocahontas .... then there is Sacajawea. Much later, I travelled up northwest in 2016 after my mother's death. I learned more about Sacajawea on the way to Montana and Idaho. Then at the capital of Helena, Montana - I sat and watched this profound artwork. Sacajawea is amazing. I had the opportunity to honor the burial of Sacajawea's son, Jean Baptiste Charbonneau in Oregon.
