@phase2 we, unfortunately, had to replace ours as the spider arm disintegrated. we went with a different manufacturer. our dryer had issues quite a few years back and it all turned out to be the plug socket wasn't making contact with all three prongs so it would power on, just not heat up. a quick bend and it was fixed...after spending a few hundred on replacement parts which we swapped out ourselves as it was easy. one part probably did need replacing but the mainboard didn't. now we have 2.
