"obstructionists".... Screw that. I've heard Republicans describe their obstruction as "doing the job they were elected to do" and "being principled". Same thing here. It's a shame Donald insists on holding the paychecks of goverent workers hostage while paying his own but we cannot compromise with somebody whose position is lunacy
@GoodBurger it’s sad that over time, politicians have come to the belief that denying the other party is part of their job description.
As much as Trump is willing to hurt folks to get what he wants I think what you described is more of a Federalist/Heritage Foundation/GOP thing than a Trump thing.
Think of how every time Trump and the Dems reach am agreement Mitch swoops in and convinces him a fair deal is terrible.
Mitch McConnell's way is to only give somebody 10 cents in exchange for a dollar. So when Mitch interrupts DJT/Dem deals he doesn't care if Trump is collateral if he stops Dems.
