Today will be incredibly difficult for many. Not only will it be difficult to hear the testimonies, but also to apply the filters for the emotions of reliving their own story.
Precedents will be set when this is all over. I fear that which may affect my daughters and future generations.
We don’t seem to be able to let history guide us toward change. When do we decide enough is enough? How many more need to suffer the consequences?
