I left my country in 2014. I kept up with the news as much as I could. Same trend was always active - there is no/not enough change. I grew up in 90 and that was the time when you did not call cops, as the cops were all mafia. fast forward 2023 - I read a story from a famous blogger, she promotes an app that allows fast and discrete call to police in emergency. My country has huge progress in police reform, and that's the proof from the people themselves ❤️

when change happens slowly and you are in a middle of it - it's really hard to notice. but the change is there. having good readouts might help.
