It's break time, CoSo! π
This is my last week of work exchange in Germany and I have mixed feelings.
Do I stay in Germany for an extra week after this and explore the city/night life, which I haven't had any time to do, or do I leave for Luxembourg where I've never been before?
I can't decide, so it's up to you now. π
@vivelafranz Nowhere is boring when you meet the right people! π
@quinnsentialOne True and no offense to Luxembourgers. Berlin is the place for me.
@vivelafranz What do you enjoy about Berlin nightlife?
@quinnsentialOne Having been to both, I voted Germany.
@Autumn Is there anywhere you'd recommend?
@quinnsentialOne It's been a while so not specifically unfortunately but Luxembourg was more high end/fancy/expensive. Maybe make it a day trip or an overnighter so you can explore a bit since it is beautiful but then go back to Germany and just have fun.
@quinnsentialOne Berlin nightlife is next level mate. Bucketlist stuff.
@DallasBarnett I've never experienced much of Berlin, but do tell. π
@quinnsentialOne KaterBlau, The Watergate, Cosmic Casper, Bricks.. Anywhere along the river is pretty wild, you can find chill little art bars, hiphop/ electro clubs or brilliant punk dives. Weekend in East Berlin is life changing .. haha
@DallasBarnett Scandalous! And temptational! π
@quinnsentialOne You'll have stories you'll be telling in 50 years mate. https://www.visitberlin.de/en/nightlife-districts-berlin
@DallasBarnett If it's that crazy, I might not make it home for Christmas. π
@quinnsentialOne Pace yourself.. :)
@quinnsentialOne depends on whether you've made friends in germany that you want to get drunk with. That'd be the swing vote for me. Otherwise, it'd be off to Luxembourg
@GlennS That's the Catch 22. I travel so much I usually only make friends when I'm drunk. π
Otherwise, I'm working or being asocial.
@quinnsentialOne then hit the road and see a new country
@quinnsentialOne Luxembourg is small, staid and boring. Germany is far more interesting to explore.
