My sister just called and tried to wish me a Happy Thanksgiving:
She tried to get my parents to talk to me.
My Dad was in the background yelling at her to hang up and "stop talking to the communist traitor" and yelling loudly "stay in Germany with the rest of the Nazi's if you hate being in America so much you dumb bxxxx".
This is the man who taught me to ride a bike, ride a horse, shoot a gun, drive a car, look after my siblings, and love myself. 😞
I go home in a few weeks.
I'm scared.
@quinnsentialOne Yikes! I hate to say it hon but you don't truly HAVE to go home :( you could like spend the holidays with friends or go volunteer w/homeless or veterans where they'd love love love that you are there! , I sure wouldn't unless I had a safe place to stay and at least one normal human to keep me safe while at his house! Magas are exploding all over and the Q ones are worse. Be safe above all and protect your heart!

My Dad, and Mom to a lesser degree, are both MAGA and Q believers.
My sister is MAGA, but not a Q believer. My brother is angry and lost, and stuck somewhere hard to understand.
I have some batshit crazy uncles whose property I will never step foot on again because they have gone full paranoia "they are out to get me" mode. 😩

@quinnsentialOne It does, especially when I discovered from the faraway cousins FB how deluded they are when Covid hit!
@quinnsentialOne Oh wow! I am ever so grateful to be an orphan who lives too far from any remaining relatives to ever have to deal with them again ! They are all way down in S.Cal and I'm up here flying my freak flag in BFE lol
