I just put a whole bunch of old paper phonebooks/yellow pages in the recycling. I still had some dated all the way back to 2010. TBH, I can't remember ever using them. Why do we still get these things in the mail?

@quietphysicist Because some people still use them; evidently enough that it pays to print
them.

@quietphysicist We don't get them where we live. I'm okay with that. When we did get them it felt like some company had just dumped paper waste for us to dispose of.
