@quietphysicist I've never been able to listen to him for more than a few seconds without my hackles going straight up. Since I first saw him, I found him repellent.

I sometimes get close to public figures in whom I have taken an interest, either as a fly on the wall, or just to chat or shake hands.

I don't think I could be in the same room with him.

I think something in my hindbrain would register him as something you're supposed to quickly grab with your teeth and shake until it is dead.
