Here are some musings for those who are into that:
1. FFS please let us remember that unless and until we get rid of the Electoral College, the US cannot have more than two parties. Fuck No Labels.
2. Comparative politics wisdom says France is prone to protest because their parties are weak. That is true, but you gotta admire the short fuse of political fucking up that leads to cars burning on the streets of Paris.

@publickovacs Definitely fuck No Labels, but we could have multiple partiesin this country if we had ranked choice voting.

Maybe. But there are local and state-level elections where ranked choice is used, and so far, the example doesn't seem to be percolating upward to the federal level.
