#Biden absolutely will cause a fucking hissy fit among fascists if and when he bypasses Congress and uses executive / presidential power and the Fourteenth Amendment to keep 'Murica from defaulting. The good of the country demands it. It is time for him to showcase the tough skin he has grown on his long time in politics, and do it. Fascist calling him a tyrant are noise and mustn't stop the work of governing.
@publickovacs Honestly, I'm not worried about how this would workout for the debt ceiling, however, it would give so much political ammo to the MAGA crowd. I honestly hope the US survives politically long enough for Gen Z to make those fucks irrelevant.

I don't know. The number of elections may not be the key. The MAGA ideology needs to lose credibility first. Given that it is anchored in white supremacy and resentment, I fear it has serious staying power among the population.
@ExPatExp88 @publickovacs @laughingTommy It's worse than that Mel K. The GOP continues its mission to pervert Christianity into a control mechanism to rule over everyone. It's completely transparent too as if they were REAL Christians, they would never stand in the way of healthcare for all (heal the sick) or Food programs (feed the poor).
@publickovacs @laughingTommy I fear the same but would feel a bit better if we can get them to crawl under their rocks again— to de-normalize them at least. Not even the Civil War could rid us of them so not expecting any miracles.
