I have never taken an Uber, Lyft, or other such conveyance. I think I took a taxi once or twice, but it was a long time ago
@TrueBloodNet Actually I haven't had a car since October.
@poemblaze Ah, well, where I am I prefer Lyft. They have a deal with hospitals nearby as a kinda charity thang. :) And are cheaper over all than Uber. Your mileage may vary... /s

@poemblaze You obviously have a car and haven't gotten drunk after driving somewhere.
Once, before Lyft, I was too drunk to drive and paid a gazillion dollars to get from where we were partying to home. Then had to pay the same amount to recover my car. Lesson learned! (although, I was getting research chemist pay back then so it didn't put my mortgage at risk)
