Another hate crime at a Jodo Shinshu Buddhist temple, this time in Pasadena.

The temple's custom-made Pride flag was pulled down and burned, after receiving homophobic and racist complaints about their support for LGBTQ+ and Black people.

This is only the latest in generations of hate crimes committed against Pure Land Buddhist temples in North America.

The police are now investigating this as a hate crime. As the temple minister states, "We have the back of all marginalized people. We will not step down."
