@Jezibaba
Awesome!!! ๐ I love it when things work like that!
@p3R1n01D I call them isms. ๐๐ค๐ผ
@Jezibaba
You live in an interesting place! Y'all really need to build an airport. ๐
@Jezibaba
OMG, I love it! ๐ That would be a wonderful place to live. Not for everyone, for sure, but that's part of the awesomeness. If there's one state that could ever tempt me to leave Colorado again, it's Alaska!
I lived in Minnesota for 3 years as a kid, everyone had a snowmobile and XC skis. ๐ฅฐ And baseball bats for the mosquitoes! ๐ ๐
@Jezibaba
LOL, I've heard that! Almost moved there myself in my mid-20s. I heard lots of young couples move there, but very few grow old there. ๐
The mountain towns around here are the same way. Even the ones way back like Steamboat Springs, but I think especially the ones closer to the cities like Nedderland, just above Boulder. City people think their money will get them through, then they realize they're in reality. ๐
OMG, gorgeous! I've seen Northern Lights in MN, but not pillars! ๐
@p3R1n01D Alaska is a huge, revolving door. Not sure if it's the cold or the dark but many can only handle a year or two and are moving south again. ๐
Yes! Just like MN, snow machines, skis, snow boards, and mosquitoes.
The snow glitters up here when it's really cold. Like diamonds. And the mornings are pink the night after ice fog hits. A few years ago I also got to see light pillars. (Not my photo but accurate)
